Object Oriented Requirements Analysis, Design, and Implementation Database
SCIS provided overall technical leadership and led the object oriented design process of the database portion of the Core system led by Harris Corporation. Ada constructs were used to enhance modularity and maintainability. Ada-compatible CASE tools were used for object oriented data flow analysis, requirements specification, preliminary design, entity relationship modeling, and detailed design of the data base products. SCIS staff successfully lead the design and implementation of 40,000+ Ada/SQL lines-of-code. The Core system was developed for use by the Space Shuttle/Space Station projects.
The development was successfully completed on schedule and within budget and the product was successfully delivered to the customer.
