Product Security Evaluations (PSE)
SCIS staff members conducted in-depth Product Security Evaluations, for both Lockheed Martin and Boeing, of the following hardware/software:
- Sun UltraSPARC Based Workstations
- Solaris 8, 9, and 10 Operating Systems
- Oracle 9i and 10g Databases
- Wind River Systems VxWorks 5.5 and Tornado 2.2
- Mercury Computer Systems MC/OS 5.8
- Rational Rose Enterprise Edition 2002.05.01
- Perl Development Environment - ActivePerl 5.6.1, ASPN Komodo(IDE) 1.1, Perl Dev Kit 3.0
Each security evaluation followed the strict guidelines set forth in the Air Force's F/A-22 System/Software (S/SEE) Certification & Accreditation Plan. The deliverable for each of the security evaluations was a comprehensive and detailed report.
All of the Product Security Evaluations were accepted by the Air Force and all of the hardeware and software PSE'd were approved for use on the F/A-22 Attack Fighter project. SCIS received recognition for the completeness and attention to detail on all of the PSEs.
