Maximo Setup/Configuration
SCIS, working together with Kennedy Space Center, installed and configured a Maximo v6 system for the new Information Management and Communications Systems (IMCS) and Institutional Services Contract (ISC). The system supports several hundred users; deploys six WebSphere clusters to manage for load balancing; implements a redundant Oracle 10g database and a redundant IBM HTTP Server; links to a centralized LDAP server; protects the transmission of data using SSL; and has a separate Actuate report server. Separate and distinct development, test, and production environments were setup for increased productivity and safety.
SCIS, working together with Mathias Systems, installed and configured a Maximo v5 system running on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and using BEA WebLogic. The system runs a single BEA WebLogic server and supports two dozen users on various maintenance contracts for Eastern Facility Support Services, Inc.
