Real-Time Data Recording Application
SCIS provided the overall technical leadership and design for the Real-Time Recording application of the Core System led by Harris Corporation. Ada-compatible CASE tools were used for the object oriented design and development. The UNIX based system used state-of-the-art recording technology, and a proprietary file system was developed for increased recording throughput. The Core system was developed for use by the Space Shuttle/Space Station projects.
The development was successfully completed on schedule and within budget and the product was successfully delivered to the customer.
